Benefits - Gaming Permit

The GPCC owns a gaming permit which can be used for your business or non-profit group. A letter of intent of use needs to be submitted to the Chamber Board for approval and prior to use. A fee of 10% of the proceeds will be collected for usage.

Permit Usage guidelines

To use the permit, other than the Chamber, requester must:

Be a non-profit organization and funds raised from the raffle must be used for a non-profit organization.
Request must be made in writing to the Board prior to use and will require Board approval for use.
The primary permit holder must approve design of raffle ticket.
10% from proceeds will go to the Chamber to cover costs,
The use of permit must follow Alaska State Statutes Sec. 05.15.150. Limitation on use of proceeds and Alaska State Statutes Sec. 05.13.400.
