Great News!
With all the great produce being harvested and coming out of the fields our Local Farms have asked to continue a Friday Market's through Sept 17, 2010 with one Saturday too!

The Greater Palmer Chamber has agreed to Sponsor these markets.
Markets will be held in Downtown Palmer at the Pavillion area, the same location of Friday Flings.

Dates:
Friday, August 27, 2001
Time: 11-6pm

Saturday: August 28, 2010 (featuring the Downtown Palmer, Alaska State Fair Parade at 11:00am)
Time: 10:00am-2:00pm

Friday: September 3, 10, & 17 (17th will depend on volume of produce and weather)
Time: 11-6pm

The Mat Su Special Santa Program, the sponsoring organization of the Palmer Garden & Art Faire, invites you to enjoy the many gifts of the garden, the art studio, and the kitchen that will be presented at the First Annual Midsummer Garden & Art Faire in downtown Palmer.
 
Dozens of vendors, entertainers, and educational events will be featured, as well as lots of activities for kids.
 From the Palmer Depot, to the Visitor's Center; from the Village Green Main Stage to sites throughout town, be prepared to network with fellow gardeners and friends. No admission charge. But donation opportunities will be available for the Mat Su special Santa Program.

5/14 - 8/13 Friday Flings Farmer's, Crafter's and Landscaper's Market: Every Friday from 11am - 6pm in downtown Palmer.  The weekly Market features Valley produce, arts & crafts and live entertainment in historic downtown Palmer. For more information click here

5/8 - Operation Clean Sweep Annual Palmer clean-up day: First Saturday of May.  Free lunch served to all volunteers.  Prize drawings. for ore information click here
