5/14 - 8/13 Friday Flings Farmer's, Crafter's and Landscaper's Market: Every Friday from 11am - 6pm in downtown Palmer.  The weekly Market features Valley produce, arts & crafts and live entertainment in historic downtown Palmer. For more information click here

5/8 - Operation Clean Sweep Annual Palmer clean-up day: First Saturday of May.  Free lunch served to all volunteers.  Prize drawings. for ore information click here

6/11 - 6/13 "Colony Days Celebration": A festival in honor of the 1935 Colonists who started our farming community.  Events include a car rally, craft fairs, horse-drawn wagon rides, farmer's market, kids games, carnival rides, bike rodeo, parade and live entertainment. Click here to learn more

6/13 - 11:00am Bill Mitchell Fun Run Sponsored by MTA: Try this great event for the entire family.  Bib pick-up 9:30am.  5-K and special 1-K for ages 13 and Under.  Flat course, out and back on pavement and bike trails.

7/23 - Palmer Pride Picnic: Held the fourth friday of July. Free picnic hosted by Palmer businesses and the City of Palmer.  Palmer Pride hotdogs, farm fresh veggies, live music and Citizen of the Year.

10/2 - GPCC Annual Dinner and Auction: Silent and outcry auctions, split the pot and catered dinner.  Items include round-trip outside airfare packages, in-state travel and lodging packages, art, office equipment, flight seeing tours and tools. 12/10 - 12/12, Colony Christmas Celebration: An old-fashioned country Christmas celebration with 5 craft fairs featuring nearly 200 vendors, horse-drawn and reindeer sleigh rides, pictures with Santa,  and a blast of fireworks to top off the day.  LOCATION:  Downtown Palmer - Click here for more information

12/12 - 11:00am Colony Christmas Triathlon sponsored by Peak Fitness: Try this hearty event on a course which begins at Peak Fitness.  Race includes a 15K Bike (out & back), 5K Run (to Palmer High School) and a 500-Meter swim.  Bib pick-up 10am Click here for more information
