Celebrate summer, Palmer-style! Colony Days is a summer favorite for locals and visitors alike, filled with fun for everyone!

Entertain yourself with fun activities for the whole family. We'll be hosting 5k runs, comical bed races, kids' carnivals and other fun events! Peruse the farmer's market, where you'll find a great variety of food, and the finest locally made Alaskan crafts. And definitely don't miss our Colony Days Parade!

NEW! Harvest Olympics

A relay race to find the halest harvester in our hometown!

The Harvest Olympics is a relay race consisting of farm-themed events, the fastest harvesters will claim the prize! Bonus time deductions for costumes! Get a team of four and get harvesting!

Bed Races

A time-honored tradition! Gather your team of five and enter the weekend's most comical race. Teams will push a bed with one rider down the track, stopping at different pit stops for their rider to accomplish zany tasks as quickly as possible to get back on the road! Hilarity ensues.



Colony Days Parade

Let's have a parade! The Colony Days Parade, powered by MEA will take place Saturday, June 11th, at 11am in Downtown Palmer! This year's theme is "Fields of Fun", so be sure to come out and show off your amazing float! Or, find a great spot and to view the Parade, and enjoy!

Cornhole Tourney

Bring your dynamic duo down to the Museum lawn to determine Palmer's cornhole champion!



Rhubarb Revival

If baking is your vibe, get ready to celebrate rhubarb and whip up your finest rhubarb-themed dish!

NEW! Costume Contest

Get zany and show us your Fields of Fun costumes! Contestants can walk in the parade, and then promenade at the Depot for the Runway show and Judging!
